Interruptions are Opportunities

So, secret agents, how are we doing?  Have you encountered "interruptions" to your days or moments where you were able to speak a word of kindness, life, truth?  Did the Lord strategically place you in someone else's path so that you could pray for them or talk with them about the Lord?
Take a couple of minutes to read previous posts of other secret agents on assignment, too.  It may help you identify where you have been on assignment.
Keep up the good work and keep your eyes open for those God-moments and opportunities...and then blog away!

  1. Looking intentionally to move past "seeing" the opportunity to engaging it!

Our LCG had a local impact on the ‘Global Village’ crew that came from all over the country to help projects for Habitat for Humanity.
Overflowing with filled lawn chairs, laughter and plenty of good fellowship, Leisure Village park was home to Montana: The Last Best Place. Antelope steak, tasty elk roast, corn on the cob, fruit medleys, cherry and rhubarb cobbler, triple berry ice cream, and good old fashioned watermelon adorned the small but quaint tables ready for the mighty hungry laborers! They didn’t bring hammers or saws or nails this time, they just brought their appetites instead!
We sat around eager to learn more about these energetic/giving helpers; these workers giving their time and talents to help people in Montana with their homes. We shared stories and lives.
As we cleaned up and reflected the night’s activities, we realized we connected, served and prayed as one. It all comes down to this: “Serve the Lord with gladness.” (Psalm 100:2). The Global Village crew and our Life Connection Group served with gladness.
